Vessel IT L2 support

The Managed -
Vessel IT is responsible for overseeing IT operations,
support, and infrastructure related to vessel systems.
The role ensures smooth day-to-day functioning, timely
resolution of issues, vendor coordination, and
proactive monitoring of IT services. The position also
drives process improvements and implementation of new
technologies to strengthen the organization’s IT
capabilities.

Key
Responsibilities

• Conduct
  monthly reviews of IT service tickets and
  perform daily follow-ups on pending issues.
  
• Drive
  continuous improvement initiatives across IT
  processes, tools, and service delivery.
  
• Maintain
  accurate and updated IT documentation, policies, and
  requirements.
  
• Coordinate
  with external vendors for IT support,
  procurement, and service contracts.
  
• Manage IT
  assets, inventory, and ensure proper lifecycle
  management.
  
• Oversee Datto
  RMM monitoring systems for proactive issue
  resolution.
  
• Provide user
  support for hardware, software, and connectivity
  issues.
  
• Lead the
  implementation of new IT infrastructure, office
  systems, and technology upgrades.
  

• Experience within 5-8 years
  
• Strong
  knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems
  administration, and asset management.
  
• Experience
  with RMM tools (Datto preferred) and IT
  monitoring solutions.
  
• Problem-solving and
  analytical abilities to manage complex IT
  issues.
  
• Excellent
  communication and coordination skills for vendor and
  user interaction.
  
• Strong
  documentation and reporting skills.
  
• Team collaboration and mentoring capability.
  
• Ability to
  lead projects and implement new IT solutions
  effectiProactive
  approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
   • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
   • Relevant certifications in networking, IT support, or service management are preferred.
