Vice President - Projects

Role Purpose

Lead the end-to-end execution of the Gigafactory project, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, infrastructure readiness and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Greenfield Gigafactory project from planning to commissioning.


• Develop and drive the overall project master plan, timelines and critical milestones.


• Coordinate civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and utility infrastructure.


• Manage consultants, EPC contractors, vendors and project partners.


• Drive CAPEX planning, budget control and cost monitoring.


• Ensure timely completion of plant infrastructure and utilities.


• Coordinate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, IT/MES and HR.


• Monitor project progress, identify risks and drive timely resolution of critical issues.


• Lead project reviews and management reporting to the CEO / Business Head.


• Coordinate required statutory approvals and project compliances.

Ideal Candidate

• 18–25+ years of experience in large-scale manufacturing project execution.


• Proven experience in Greenfield plant / Gigafactory setup.


• Experience in Battery, EV, Energy Storage, Automotive, Electronics or advanced manufacturing preferred.


• Strong experience in CAPEX projects, plant infrastructure and commissioning.


• Proven ability to manage large project teams, contractors and multiple stakeholders.


• Strong project planning, cost control and execution capabilities.
