Job Purpose: The Vertical (Central) Security Head - NR is responsible for overseeing and directing all security operations across multiple clusters and sites, ensuring the implementation of advanced security technologies and automation to enhance security measures. This role involves developing centralized security strategies, coordinating with cluster security heads, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and government regulations. The Vertical Security Head is tasked with optimizing resource utilization, mitigating risks, and providing assurance to senior management about the security posture of the organization.




Responsibilities

Vertical (Central) Security Head-NR


Strategic Security Management:


Develop and implement a comprehensive centralized security strategy that aligns with business objectives and ensures cohesive security operations across all clusters and sites.


Oversee the integration of advanced security technologies and automation to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of security measures.


Establish and maintain security protocols and procedures that are standardized across all clusters and sites.


Develop and implement robust risk management plans to address potential security threats and vulnerabilities.


Oversee regular risk assessments and audits to ensure the effectiveness of security measures and identify areas for improvement.


Provide assurance to senior management regarding the security posture and risk mitigation efforts of the organization.


Technology and Automation Integration:


Oversee the implementation of cutting-edge security technologies, including surveillance systems, access control systems, and cybersecurity measures.


Ensure that all security functions are supported by data-driven insights and real-time monitoring tools.


Foster a culture of innovation by exploring and integrating new technologies that enhance security operations.


Implement automation solutions to streamline security operations, reduce manual intervention, and improve response times.


Monitor the performance of automated systems and make necessary adjustments to optimize their effectiveness.


Ensure that all automated systems are regularly updated and maintained to prevent any security lapses.


Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement:


Coordinate with cluster security heads to ensure alignment of security strategies and practices across the organization.


Facilitate regular meetings with cluster security teams to discuss security challenges, share best practices, and align on strategic initiatives.


Collaborate with other departments, such as IT, HR, and legal, to ensure integrated security measures and compliance with internal policies.


Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.


Prepare and present detailed reports on security operations, incidents, and strategic initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders.


Ensure clear and effective communication of security policies, procedures, and updates to all relevant parties.


Training and Development:


Develop and implement training programs for security personnel across all clusters and sites to ensure continuous professional development and capability building.


Stay abreast of the latest security trends and technologies to incorporate into training programs and ensure the security team remains knowledgeable and skilled.


Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve their impact.


Supervise and mentor cluster security heads and other security professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and career growth.


Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high standards of security operations.


Budget and Resource Management:


Plan and manage the security budget for all clusters and sites, ensuring judicious use of resources and cost-effective security measures.


Regularly review and optimize resource allocation to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of security operations.


Identify and implement strategies to reduce security-related costs without compromising on safety and effectiveness.


Ensure that security resources are allocated efficiently across all clusters and sites to meet operational needs and strategic goals.


Monitor resource utilization and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:


Bachelor's or Master's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, or related fields preferred


Certification:


Certification in security operations or management, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP), is preferred.


Work Experience (Range of years):


Work Experience (Range of Years):


Minimum 15 years of experience in security management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple locations.


Proven experience in implementing advanced security technologies and managing large security teams.
