Video Communications Artist

As Video Content Artist you’ll be working closely with marketing communication and branding teams to drive product messaging of the organisation. Success in this role requires strong design and creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates the passion for storyboarding, sketching, digital colouring and strong understanding of motion graphics, composting and editing principles it all together to deliver impactful messaging. The candidate will be working with numerous storyboarding, visualization and creating of explainer videos.

• Create highly engaging sketches/illustrations or reuse existing ones for a diverse array of digital assets including various types of videos, infographics.
  




• Have working experience or aptitude for visualizing a variety of video projects like explainer, Whiteboard, Character videos, etc.
  




• Understand and visualize technical content for B2B videos. 
  




• Exhibit ability to grasp the concept and the vision behind the messaging and translate it into engaging videos.
  




• Understand and participate in creative direction from concept to execution, while adhering to organisational brand guidelines.
  




• Work with marketing communication and branding to understand the project scope and objectives.
  




• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new visual concepts and perspectives and ideas.
  

Requirements

• Ability to convert a script into a storyboard in digital tools such as Krita, Storyboarder or similar tools or on offline storyboard templates
  
  


• Working knowledge of platforms such as Videoscribe or Doodly or Powtoons or similar online platforms to deliver rapid results
  
  


• Proficient working knowledge of creative tools such as Premiere/Openshot/Shotcut/Kdevlive, After Effects/Blackmagic Design Fusion/Natron, Audition/Ardour
  
  


• Brainstorm and conceptualize ideas, with ability to produce quick concept edits and pre-visualization video edits
  
  


• Prepare design plan, concept and layout for motion graphic project
  
  


• Assist in selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc for motion design
  
  


• Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics
  
  


• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
  
  


• Understanding of motion, visual pacing and timing
  
  


• Responsible for creating and compositing images and effects, video editing and sound editing
  
  


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  
  


• Has previous experience in working in small teams of 3-5
  
  


• Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style
  
  


• Manage time effectively, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  
  


• Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully, quality control is key

Compensation: 

Remuneration will be competitive with Indian Education Technology sector pay scales and will depend upon the candidate’s experience levels and the value he/she will be able to add to the project. Salary package starts at around 3.6 lakhs INR and may go up to 6.0 lakhs INR as one climbs up the growth ladder.
