Video Editor

What You’ll Do

• Own and execute video editing across a wide range of formats: explainer videos, product demos, founder thought-leadership clips, social media content, and promotional campaigns.


• Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with Emergent’s brand voice and storytelling.


• Adapt content for multiple platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), ensuring each cut is optimized for the channel.


• Collaborate with content, marketing, and design teams to bring creative ideas to life.


• Add motion graphics, text overlays, and animations to enhance engagement and clarity.


• Maintain consistency in look, feel, and tone across all video assets.


• Manage timelines and workflows, ensuring fast turnaround without compromising quality.


• Stay up to date on video trends, editing techniques, and platform-specific best practices to keep Emergent’s video presence fresh and innovative.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of professional video editing experience, ideally in SaaS, tech, or B2B content environments.


• Strong command of editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.


• Experience with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Blender).


• Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging narratives.


• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver high-quality work on tight timelines.


• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with founders, product, and marketing teams.

Good to Have

• Experience editing short-form vertical content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).


• Familiarity with audio editing and sound design.


• Knowledge of color grading and advanced post-production workflows.


• Prior work in high-growth startups or fast-paced creative environments.
