Job Description - Video Editor

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to edit and produce engaging video content for digital platforms. The ideal candidate will transform raw footage into compelling visual stories while ensuring high visual quality, strong storytelling, and alignment with brand communication objectives. This role involves working closely with creative, content, and marketing teams in a fast-paced agency environment to deliver impactful video content for social media and digital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

â¢ Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media and digital marketing campaigns

â¢ Transform raw footage into engaging visual stories using transitions, sound design, and motion elements

â¢ Collaborate with creative, content, and marketing teams to develop video concepts and narratives

â¢ Optimize video formats for various social media platforms and digital channels

â¢ Manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

â¢ Incorporate graphics, captions, music, and visual effects to enhance engagement

â¢ Ensure brand consistency across all video content

â¢ Perform basic color correction, sound balancing, and visual enhancements

â¢ Adapt video styles based on platform requirements and campaign objectives

â¢ Maintain organized project files and media assets

Key Skills & Qualifications

â¢ 0â1 year of experience in video editing for digital or social media platforms (Freshers welcome)

â¢ Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools

â¢ Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and editing techniques

â¢ Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation

â¢ Familiarity with social media video formats (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

â¢ Basic knowledge of color correction, transitions, and visual effects

â¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment

â¢ Strong attention to detail and creative thinking

â¢ Good communication and collaboration skills

â¢ Degree/Diploma in Film Editing, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or related field preferred
