Video Editor

We are looking for a talented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.

As a film and video editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story

Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Create engaging short-form videos, reels, promotional videos, advertisements, and corporate videos.
• Trim, assemble, and enhance raw footage to produce polished final videos.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, visual effects, subtitles, and animations where required.
• Perform color correction, color grading, and audio enhancement for professional-quality output.
• Collaborate with the creative, content, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver impactful content.
• Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines, tone, and campaign objectives.
• Optimize videos for different platforms and formats.
• Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
• Organize and maintain video files, project assets, and editing timelines.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, AI editing tools, and social media content formats.
• Suggest creative concepts and editing styles to improve audience engagement.
• Revise videos based on feedback and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and attention to detail in every project.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a video editor
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field
