Call for Applications for Videographers (R-13) – ANNAM.AI

Location: ANNAM.AI, Center of Excellence in AI for Agriculture, IIT Ropar (Onsite preferred; hybrid/remote may also be considered)

Type: Full-Time | Contractual | Renewable based on performance

Compensation: ₹3 - 5 Lakhs per annum (Based on qualifications and experience)

Performance Incentives: Additional incentives based on quality of footage, timely support, and technical contribution, subject to Governing Board approval

Tenure: Initial appointment for 2 years, extendable up to 5 years

Minimum experience of 2+ years (May be relaxed in the case of exceptional candidates.)

Role Summary

Videographers will be responsible for capturing high-quality visuals for ANNAM.AI’s educational, documentary, and Agriculture Q&A projects. This role requires technical knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and composition to support the video team in producing professional-grade content.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate cameras and related equipment during shoots.
   

2. Ensure proper framing, lighting, and audio capture in diverse environments.
   

3. Support field and studio shoots for documentaries, training, and Q&A sessions.
   

4. Manage equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance.
   

5. Ensure raw footage is backed up and catalogued.
   

Candidate Profile

Educational Qualifications & Skills

1. Diploma/Degree in Film, Media, Photography, or related field.
   

2. Knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and sound basics.
   

3. Basic familiarity with editing software is an advantage.
   

Professional Experience

1. 2–3 years of professional videography experience.
   

2. Prior work on documentaries, corporate, or educational shoots preferred.
   

Performance-Based Incentives

Eligible for performance-based incentives linked to footage quality and timeliness.

Separation Clause

One month’s notice in year one, two months in subsequent years, or salary in lieu.
