About the Role

A good event does not just happen. It is hosted, presented, and made memorable by someone who brings it all together.

As our Virtual Program Facilitator, you will be the voice and face of Team Everest in the virtual world.

You will host orientation sessions, reflections, webinars, and even internal or external events with energy and clarity.

You will make sure every attendee leaves the session with all the information they need and a smile on their face.

You will also prepare everything behind the scenes — from making PPTs to managing event logistics.

If you love public speaking, presenting clearly, and making virtual spaces feel alive — this is your stage.

What You Will Do?

Event Facilitation and Presentation

1. Host Virtual Events: Confidently conduct orientations, reflections, webinars, fundraising events, scholarship sessions, and more for both internal and external audiences.
   
2. Engage Attendees: Ensure every participant understands the event purpose, process, and action items through clear communication and an energetic presence.
   
3. Flexible Event Hosting: Be available for events during weekends, holidays, or evenings if needed, with compensations and flexibility provided.
   

Pre-Event Preparation and Coordination

1. Create Event Content: Design PPTs, templates, and basic visual materials using Canva or similar tools.
   
2. Collaborate with Teams: Work with internal stakeholders to understand event requirements, prepare all needed materials, and manage event flow smoothly.
   
3. Logistics Readiness: Handle backend tasks like setting up Zoom or Meet links, event registrations, and session dry-runs if needed.
   

Requirements

What We are Looking For?

Education: Any graduate degree

Skills required for Job:

1. Excellent Speaking Skills: You must communicate clearly, confidently, and engagingly with large audiences.
   
2. Strong Presentation Skills: Ability to explain processes and ideas clearly during virtual sessions.
   
3. Fluency in Tamil: You must speak Tamil fluently to interact with regional participants.
   
4. Bonus Language Skills: Hindi or other Indian languages are an added advantage, but not mandatory.
   
5. Computer Skills: Comfort with basic computer operations like managing links, emails, and online event tools.
   
6. Basic Canva Skills: Ability to design simple event materials like PPTs, banners, and posters.
   
7. Flexibility: Willingness to host events during anytime.
   
8. Work Ethic: You should be someone who loves to learn, works hard, and can independently own tasks as well as work in a team.

Other Information

• Scope: Full-time
  
• Probation: 3 months
  
• Commitment: We expect you to work with us for at least 2 years. No formal agreements, we work on trust!
  
• Designation: Virtual Program Facilitator
  
• Working Days: Monday to Friday + 2 working Saturdays a month (plus flexibility for event days)
  
• Office Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM (Flexibility for events outside office hours)
  
• Office Address: Work from our Chennai office
  
• Joining Date: Immediate
