VMC Operator

Job Summary
We are looking for skilled and motivated VMC Operators with 1–3 years of experience in CNC/VMC machining operations. The candidate will be responsible for operating VMC machines, setting up jobs, monitoring machining processes, and ensuring production and quality requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines as per production requirements.
Perform machine setting, tool setting, and job loading/unloading.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
Understand and use measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, and gauges.
Monitor machining parameters and ensure components are produced as per required dimensions.
Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine/tool issues to the supervisor.
Conduct in-process inspection and maintain required quality standards.
Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S practices.
Follow all safety procedures and company manufacturing standards.
Maintain production and inspection records.
Required Skills
1–3 years of experience as a VMC Operator / CNC Operator.
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or a relevant technical trade preferred.
Good knowledge of VMC machine operations.
Knowledge of machine setting and tool offsetting.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of basic measuring instruments.
Basic understanding of CNC/VMC programming and G-code/M-code is preferred.
Good understanding of quality and safety practices.
Willingness to work in shifts.
