About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Vice President – Insurance Product Development to lead the design, development, and execution of next-generation digital products in the Property and Casualty Insurance space. This is a leadership role for someone with deep insurance domain expertise, product vision, and strong technical acumen. You will be responsible for defining the product and technology roadmap, driving digital transformation, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, innovative insurance solutions.

As a senior leader, you’ll partner with business, technology, operations, and external vendors to ensure end-to-end product lifecycle success—delivering customer-centric, compliant, and tech-forward products that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the product development lifecycle for Property and Casualty Insurance offerings—from ideation to launch to optimization.
• Define and execute the technology roadmap in alignment with evolving business needs, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and own product strategy, aligning technology initiatives with the company’s insurance goals and market trends.
• Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, engineers, marketing, and legal teams to bring new insurance products and digital experiences to life.
• Leverage your knowledge of cloud infrastructure, software architecture, and analytics integration to ensure scalable and intelligent product development.
• Champion Agile and DevOps best practices to accelerate time to market, improve team productivity, and ensure continuous improvement.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and lead product teams, including internal teams, outsourced development partners, and technology vendors.
• Ensure a strong feedback loop between Product Design, Technology, and Business, keeping user needs central to development.
• Monitor product and portfolio performance, manage P&L, and oversee budgeting and investment planning.
• Lead initiatives in digital transformation, guiding modernization of legacy systems, process automation, and new platform development.
• Provide thought leadership in leveraging data analytics, AI, and automation to enhance underwriting, claims, and customer experience.
• Develop and track OKRs and KPIs to ensure measurable impact of product and technology initiatives.
• Mentor and grow product managers, engineers, and analysts within the product organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in product development within the insurance domain, with significant exposure to Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Proven success in defining and delivering complex digital products and platforms.
• Strong understanding of technology architecture, cloud platforms, and integration of analytics tools.
• Hands-on experience managing Agile product teams, SDLC processes, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience managing product budgets, forecasting ROI, and aligning investments with business outcomes.
• Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience in leading digital transformation projects and scaling enterprise-grade platforms.
