About the role
Automation Anywhere is establishing a new business unit within its Channels organization to build and scale a Managed Service Provider (MSP) play with our partner ecosystem. We are looking for a General Manager to own this business end to end — a seasoned P&L senior leader (15-20 years of experience) who can set the strategy, build the partner network, drive revenue, and ensure consistent delivery and execution. This is an entrepreneurial, build-from-the-ground-up mandate for a seasoned leader who is equally comfortable in the boardroom, in front of partners, and in the operational detail of getting deals delivered.
What you'll own
Business & P&L
Full ownership of the MSP business unit P&L, including revenue, margin, investment, and growth targets.
Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the MSP play, including business model, pricing/commercials, and the partner economics that make the motion scalable.
Build the multi-year business plan and operating model for the unit.
Sales & revenue
Drive net-new and recurring revenue through MSP partners, owning the number and the pipeline.
Establish the sales motion, targets, and forecasting rigor for partner-led and partner-delivered revenue.
Partner with the direct sales organization to align on coverage, deal economics, and conflict management.
Partner relationships
Identify, recruit, onboard, and grow a portfolio of MSP partners.
Build executive-level relationships with partner leadership and serve as the senior point of contact for the ecosystem.
Design and run partner enablement, certification, and incentive programs that build partner capability and commitment.
Delivery & execution
Ensure partners can deliver automation outcomes to their end customers reliably and at quality.
Put in place the delivery frameworks, governance, and success metrics that protect customer outcomes and the Automation Anywhere brand.
Resolve escalations and remove blockers across the partner delivery lifecycle.
Leadership & cross-functional
Build, lead, and develop the team for the new unit as it scales.
Work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance to support the MSP motion.
Represent the business unit to senior leadership, providing clear reporting on performance against plan.
What you'll bring
15–20 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise software / SaaS.
Demonstrated ownership of a multi-million-dollar P&L, with a track record of building and scaling a business or business unit and being accountable for the number.
Direct experience with MSP and/or managed services models — ideally building or running a partner-delivered services motion.
A strong track record of driving revenue through and with partners, not just direct.
Exceptional execution and cross-functional leadership — proven ability to mobilize and align teams across Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to deliver results without direct authority over them.
Operational discipline to ensure delivery quality and customer outcomes, not just signings.
Experience in intelligent/agentic automation, AI, or adjacent enterprise technology is a strong advantage.
An IT / IT Service Management (ITSM) background is a plus.
Comfort with ambiguity and a genuine builder's mindset; this is a new unit, not a steady-state book of business.
