Warehouse Manager (Finished Goods Ice Cream)

Summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% visibility and control of Finished Goods inventory through real-time SAP updates and rigorous physical verification.
  
• Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits to maintain alignment between SAP inventory and physical stock; resolve variances within defined timelines.
  
• Enforce batch-wise tracking, shelf-life monitoring, and FEFO compliance to minimize expiry and waste.
  
• Lead dispatch planning and execution from Central Warehouse to Regional Depots, Spoke Warehouses, Cold Rooms, and Distribution Centers.
  
• Achieve target OTIF (On Time In Full) performance by coordinating with logistics partners for timely vehicle scheduling and route optimization.
  
• Monitor dispatch documentation, invoicing, gate-out procedures, and compliance with delivery protocols.
  
• Maintain strict cold chain integrity by ensuring storage temperatures meet required standards across all warehouse zones.
  
• Track and validate temperature logs; initiate corrective actions for any deviations to prevent product compromise.
  
• Ensure all FG movements are accurately recorded in SAP, supporting real-time inventory visibility and reconciliation.
  
• Lead SAP inventory reconciliation activities and generate actionable KPIs and MIS reports for operational oversight.
  
• Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and data accuracy.
  
• Plan and implement scalable warehouse infrastructure and processes to support expansion
  
• Forecast and manage storage capacity, pallet allocation, manpower, and material handling equipment needs.
  
• Design and execute warehouse layouts that optimize space utilization, workflow, and safety.
  
• Support commissioning of new cold storage facilities and satellite warehouses.
  
• Lead and mentor warehouse supervisors, operators, forklift drivers, and contract staff.
  
• Establish performance benchmarks, conduct SOP and safety training, and promote continuous improvement culture.
  
• Implement Lean Warehouse principles and operational excellence initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce turnaround times.
  
• Optimize loading/unloading efficiency, vehicle dwell time, and inventory turnover rates.
  
• Ensure full compliance with Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and EHS standards across all warehouse operations.
  
• Maintain high hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards in all warehouse areas.
  
• Prepare for and lead internal and external audits related to warehouse processes, compliance, and documentation.
  

• Proven experience in managing Finished Goods warehouse operations in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
  
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and SAP Inventory Management modules.
  
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale cold storage and distribution networks, including temperature-controlled logistics.
  
• In-depth knowledge of inventory reconciliation processes and accuracy improvement strategies.
  
• Experience in dispatch planning, transportation management, and OTIF performance optimization.
  
• Solid understanding of food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  
• Track record in warehouse capacity planning and scaling operations to support production growth.
