Job Summary

We are looking for a Website Maintenance, WordPress & SEO Executive responsible for maintaining company websites, managing WordPress updates, improving Google search rankings, increasing organic traffic, and generating qualified leads.

Key Responsibilities

Website Maintenance

• Perform regular website maintenance and health checks.
  
• Monitor website uptime, security, speed, and functionality.
  
• Update website pages, content, banners, blogs, images, forms, and links.
  
• Identify and resolve broken links, page errors, layout issues, and form-related problems.
  
• Ensure the website works properly across desktops, tablets, mobile devices, and major browsers.
  
• Manage website backups and restore the website when required.
  
• Monitor SSL certificates, hosting, domain renewals, and website security.
  
• Coordinate with hosting providers, designers, and developers to resolve technical issues.
  
• Maintain records of all website updates, changes, and resolved issues.
  

WordPress and Plugin Management

• Manage and maintain WordPress websites.
  
• Update WordPress core, themes, and plugins regularly.
  
• Take a backup and test updates before applying them to the production website.
  
• Monitor plugin and theme compatibility.
  
• Resolve issues caused by WordPress, theme, or plugin updates.
  
• Remove unused or vulnerable plugins and recommend suitable alternatives.
  
• Manage WordPress users, roles, and access permissions.
  
• Protect websites against malware, spam, and unauthorized access.
  

Google Ranking and SEO

• Improve the website’s Google ranking for targeted keywords.
  
• Develop strategies to achieve and maintain first-page Google rankings.
  
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search-trend analysis.
  
• Track keyword positions and prepare regular Google-ranking reports.
  
• Perform on-page, off-page, local, and technical SEO activities.
  
• Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, image alt text, content, and internal links.
  
• Monitor and resolve Google indexing and crawling issues.
  
• Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, canonical tags, and structured data.
  
• Improve domain authority through ethical link-building activities.
  
• Monitor Google algorithm updates and adjust SEO strategies accordingly.
  
• Manage and optimize Google Business Profile when required.
  

Website Performance

• Improve website speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
  
• Monitor and improve Google Core Web Vitals.
  
• Manage caching, image optimization, CDN, SSL, and database optimization.
  
• Identify and fix duplicate content, missing metadata, and technical SEO issues.
  
• Ensure the website remains secure, accessible, and available.
  

Analytics and Reporting

• Manage Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools.
  
• Monitor organic traffic, impressions, clicks, rankings, leads, and conversions.
  
• Prepare weekly and monthly website maintenance and SEO reports.
  
• Compare Google-ranking performance against competitors.
  
• Analyze underperforming keywords and pages and recommend improvements.
  
• Report completed website updates, open issues, risks, and upcoming maintenance requirements.
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of website maintenance and troubleshooting.
  
• Good knowledge of WordPress administration, themes, plugins, page builders, and forms.
  
• Experience with Google-ranking strategies and search engine optimization.
  
• Knowledge of on-page, off-page, local, and technical SEO.
  
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
  
• Familiarity with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
  
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, databases, hosting, and DNS.
  
• Knowledge of website speed optimization, caching, CDN, SSL, backups, and security.
  
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  
• 1 to 2 years of experience in website maintenance, WordPress, and SEO.
  
• Experience improving Google rankings for competitive keywords.
  
• Experience managing business, software, or product websites.
  
• Relevant WordPress, SEO, Google Analytics, or Google Ads certification is an advantage.
