Wind Resource Engineer

Key Responsibility:

Produce high-quality engineering analyses and deliverables, including wind data analysis, wind resource assessments, site designs, energy production reports and intermediary analyses.

The Wind Resource Engineer is a hands-on technical role focused on building strong wind resource expertise and delivering consistently high-quality work.

Detailed Responsibilities: 

• Undertake technical analyses using industry-standard and Wind Pioneers' proprietary tools.


• Manage wind data, quality checks and associated technical tasks


• .Produce high-quality wind resource assessments, site designs, energy production reports and   intermediary analyses.


•  Manage assigned deliverables, communicate progress clearly and escalate risks early.


•  Support client liaison and coordinate inputs from third-party technical suppliers. 


•  Contribute to research, development and the improvement of internal tools and methods.

Candidate Requirements:

• A strong Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering, science or technical discipline.


• 0–2 years of professional experience in wind resource engineering or a closely related role. 


• Hands-on exposure to wind data, wind resource assessment, site design, energy production analysis or  technical reporting. 


• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn specialist technical tools.


• Fluent English, including clear, high-quality technical writing. 


• A proactive, flexible approach, natural initiative and genuine enthusiasm for wind energy and a small international growth environment.
