Roles & Responsibilities:
- Development of PCB layouts considering technical requirements, economic aspects as well as specifications and standards for PCB manufacturing
- Close collaboration with hardware engineering, construction and production as well as with PCB manufacturers
- Design and optimization of PCB layouts with regard to EMC, thermal management, insulation coordination, etc.
- Selection of processes and materials for PCB production
- Optimization of PCB layouts considering production technologies of manufacturers and assembly service providers (DfM) as well as assembly testing (DfT)
- Execution of design reviews
- Maintenance and improvement of standards for development and manufacturing documentation in cooperation with relevant departments
Contributing Your Strengths: Your Qualifications
Qualification and Education Requirements:
- Bachelors/ Master's degree in the field of Electronics/Electrical Engineering
Experience:
- More than 15 years of experience in similar field
Preferred Skills / Special Skills:
- Practical know-how in the design of PCBs with high complexity for power electronic components
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC-2221, 2222, IPC-D-325, IPC-6011, 6012,6013, ANSI Y14.5, J-STD-0001
- Initial experience in product development with regard to EMC and safety guidelines, high-speed digital design and/or HV design
- Extensive knowledge in the use of CAD layout programs, preferably Siemens EDA Xpedition Enterprise
- Ability to work in a team and independently, as well as strong communication and convincing skills
- Efficient and systematic way of working
- Solution- and target-oriented working approach
- Knowledge of German, both written and spoken will be preferable
- Experiences in reputed MNCs is a must
