If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\n\nWe are currently seeking a Z3_Exchange Online (EXO) Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, Karn\u0101taka (IN-KA), India (IN).\n\nDesignation \u2013 Exchange Online (EXO) Specialist: \nThe EXO Specialist at Client will lead the architecture, governance, modernization, and \nlifecycle management of the Global Exchange Online (EXO) and Hybrid messaging environment. \nThe role ensures seamless collaboration between cloud and on-prem systems, supports largescale mailbox migrations, enforces security and compliance standards, and partners with global \nteams across Germany, India, and NAFTA regions. \nThe organization operates a mixed landscape of Exchange Online, Exchange on-premises, hybrid \nmail flows, multiple Microsoft 365 tenants, and complex security/compliance controls\u2014requiring \nadvanced architectural ownership. \nKey Responsibilities: \n\u2022 Design and maintain the global EXO and Hybrid architecture, aligning with \nClient security, compliance, and M365 tenant strategies. \n\u2022 Define scalable architectures for mailbox serves, transport services, client access, and \napplication integrations. \n\u2022 Govern authentication modernization (OAuth2, Graph API) in response to Microsoft \ndeprecations such as EWS retirement. \n\u2022 Establish EXO governance models, role definitions, and admin access control frameworks \nin alignment with security \u0026 compliance teams \n\u2022 Oversee hybrid configuration (Exchange On-Prem + EXO), ensuring stability of \nprovisioning flows, directory synchronization, and mail routing. \n\u2022 Support and coordinate large mailbox migrations, including pool-ID migrations and \nworkload transitions mandated by MBAG timelines. \n\u2022 Lead issue resolution involving EXO team, Microsoft support, and internal stakeholders \nacross ITT/IT, EXO-Migration teams, and business application owners. \n\u2022 Implement and optimize EXO security baselines, modern authentication, forwarding \nrestrictions, and audit controls as mandated by corporate guidelines. \n\u2022 Work with Contract Management to evaluate new licensing and security enhancements \nsuch as Defender for Office features and E3/E5 add-ons. \n\u2022 Ensure messaging compliance requirements are met across geographies (EU, India), \ncoordinating with MBAG legal, identity, and compliance teams. \n\u2022 Lead upgrades of legacy app integrations from deprecated EWS to Microsoft Graph \nbefore Microsoft deadlines \n\u2022 Provide architectural guidance to application owners transitioning integrations into the \nmodern authentication ecosystem. \n\u2022 Act as technical escalation point for EXO L2/L3 teams and external partners \n\u2022 Ensure adherence to Client change management, ITSM processes, and global \noperations frameworks. \nRequired Skills \u0026 Experience: \n\u2022 7\u201310+ years in Exchange/EXO architecture, including hybrid deployments in large \nenterprises \n\u2022 Deep expertise with Exchange Online, Exchange Server (2016/2019), AAD Connect, \nIdentity, OAuth, Graph API transitions. \n\u2022 Experience managing cloud migrations in multi-tenant environments. \n\u2022 Strong understanding of email security, EOP, Defender for Office, and regulatory \ncompliance in global organizations. \n\u2022 Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills \n\u2022 Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and threat \nprevention. \nCertifications: \n\u2022 Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate \n\u2022 Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert \n\u2022 TOGAF / CISSP (advantage) \nKey Deliverables: \n\u2022 EXO architecture blueprints, hybrid topology designs, governance documentation. \n\u2022 Migration runbooks, cutover plans, and application modernization guidelines. \n\u2022 Security compliance mappings, design risk assessments, and audit evidence frameworks. \n\u2022 Regular updates to EXO steering teams, architecture boards, and global governance \ncommittees\n\nAbout NTT DATA\n\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
