ZR_238_Principal Staff Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend technologies, cloud architecture, and distributed systems, along with the ability to drive technical decisions and mentor engineering teams.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices
  

• Define and drive system architecture for high-performance and high-availability applications
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions
  

• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and ensure engineering best practices
  

• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability
  

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers
  

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve system efficiency
  

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js
  

• Expertise in AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)
  

• Strong understanding of system design and architecture principles
  

• Proficiency in MySQL and database design/optimization
  

• Experience in building scalable distributed systems
  

Good to Have

• Working knowledge of Java
  

• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  

• Exposure to Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j)
