Asset Management India Client & Product teams cover functions that span across the entire lifecycle of a client. The Product teams, comprising of Research analysts, Investment Specialists (IS) and Portfolio Management teams are responsible for providing additional insights to our securities coverage universe, strategy design, commercializing and monetizing our strategies. The Client Service group caters to functions like RFP, Onboarding, KYC, Client Reporting and Fund level Governance oversight functions involving Product administration, Board management, Funds registration, TA Service Delivery, Product implementation and vendor management services.

Team Description:

The Channel Marketing team is responsible for driving a strategic marketing plan that leverages marketing touchpoints across email communications, digital properties and tools, in-person and digital events and media to drive awareness and engagement with advisors and support broader business goals. In addition to producing content and managing the production process, the team drives client engagement and business impact through ongoing review of content quality and delivery enabled by digital and data capabilities.  Success in this role will demand solid understanding of the industry, products, and client needs, exceptional writing and content marketing skills, and a strong desire to continuously evolve and enhance to create greater positive business impact.

Job Description  

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual with demonstrated marketing experience and/or a strong foundational understanding of the asset management industry.  The Marketing Associate will support initiatives for the Advisor Marketing channel.  The role requires working closely with the US Advisor Marketers to manage the pipeline of materials / content required to be submitted to key partner firms in order to do business outside of J.P. Morgan. Amongst others, responsibilities will include managing specific content approvals, submission via 4U platform or email, communicating back approvals / providing a status and tracking approvals. This role requires marketing generalist competencies but offers the exciting opportunity to cultivate experience and specialization based on the individual’s interests and talents. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal stakeholders to manage firm approval process for key partner firms (Financial Intermediaries / Platforms) - obtain firm approvals, assess content type and obtain FINRA letter(s) if applicable
  • Liaise with the third party vendor for marketing strategy email approvals, submit marketing materials to Compliance and monitor approval statuses
  • Coordinate with varied members of the US Funds marketing team for ad-hoc request related to marketing approvals
  • Oversee web page experience for improvement and maintain up to date web page content 
  • Own the content updates for specific marketing materials i.e.  sales flyers, product availability listings, sales coverage maps
  • Ensure schedule visibility by posting information on shared sites in Confluence and Frontpage
  • Manage email creation and distribution using multiple online tools such as Workfront and Nexus, for channel-specific campaigns and ad hoc e-mails

 

Qualifications

We are looking for an ambitious candidate that is able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to learn, ability to effectively manage many complex projects in a fast-paced environment, ideally in financial services marketing. Key qualifications include:

  • Education—Master’s degree, preferably in a marketing related discipline
  • Project management— a strong sense of ownership,  excellent attention to detail, solid organizational skills and the ability to manage projects to a timeline while accurately managing large volumes of information. Capacity to multi-task—the ability to pivot efficiently from one initiative to another in a fast-paced environment and a keen sense of prioritization
  • Identify best practices and procedure improvements for executing marketing projects
  • Communication ability—outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Grammatical expertise, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ability to proofread
  • Build relationships with partners across the marketing organization. The ability to develop credibility and trust through consistent delivery of quality outcomes across a matrix within Marketing
  • Risk and control – the ability to identify potential risks and apply appropriate mitigation controls  
  • Proficiencies—solid competency in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
