Job Description:

We are seeking a Backend Engineer who is not only skilled in coding but also proficient in system architecture and design. You will be instrumental in building the backbone of our digital infrastructure, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and optimally integrated with our frontend services.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable backend systems using both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, as well as Firebase for real-time interactions.
• Participate in the initial system design and architecture, ensuring robustness, scalability, and integration capability with front-end systems.
• Leverage AWS for deploying and managing cloud infrastructure, optimizing for performance and scalability.
• Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and realization of end-user interfaces.
• Drive rapid iterations of product features based on user feedback, analytics, and business requirements.
• Ensure application security, data protection, and maintain high standards in code and architecture.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial concept generation through to planning, implementation, and optimization.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with backend programming, including direct experience with databases (SQL & NoSQL), Firebase, and cloud services (AWS).
• Demonstrated experience in system architecture and design, particularly within a startup environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing high-performance applications.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
• Familiarities with microservices architecture is a plus
