Credit Risk Analyst

Purpose of Job:

Appraising Consumer Banking and Corporate banking proposal which includes Retail home loans, Loan against property, small ticket SME loans & large corporate loans. It involves conducting risk analysis by scrutinizing relevant loan documents, client meet, analyzing financials and ensuring compliance as per bank's credit policies.

Main duties:

• Review & evaluate all the credit proposals (Retail + Corporate) as per Banks policy and present the proposal to Head Credit Risk.
• Preparing risk cover sheet highlighting all credit relevant points.
• Monitoring of loan account, checking loan documents & timely preparing various MIS reports.
• Supervising, controlling delinquency & credit loss.
• Ensure completeness of credit documentation in accordance with approved terms and conditions.
• Conduct periodic reviews/monitoring of the portfolio to maintain credit quality.
• Maintain appropriate records for ensuring completion of Annual reviews in a timely manner.
• Preparing monthly reports related to India portfolio & presenting it to ICC / RMC.
• Updating industry portfolio & presenting to RMC.
• Preparing / reviewing credit related policy & submitting to India Management Committee for review.
• Assisting RBI/HO/statutory Auditors in smooth conduct of audit.
• Interact regularly with other officers of the branch to be well informed of the activities in the account and alert Head of consumer banking in case of any concern.

Essential Qualification/Experience Required:

• Qualified CA / MBA Finance with 3-5 years' experience in Banking with minimum 3 years of experience in Retail home loans risk area.
• Good interpersonal skills, communication skills both written and oral and a pleasing personality.
