About the Team & Role

Fleek is a diverse set of individuals with the single mission of making second-hand the first choice while promoting circular fashion and building a beautiful product experience. Our team of 50+ people spans 7+ countries, with experiences from Google, YC, Uber, Deliveroo, Depop, Cambridge, Oxford, UC Berkeley, and more.

As a Finance and Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for building and scaling Fleek’s accounting and compliance functions, supporting Fleek’s hyper-growth while maintaining financial hygiene, a strong bottom line, and seamless bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a real-time and dynamic view of financial health through daily closing.
• Liaising with accountants and tax managers to manage bookkeeping.
• Managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payables and receivables, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Providing monthly financial reports to individual teams and external investors.
• Hiring and managing an internal team to maintain financial operations and credit collections.
• Liaising with product and engineering teams to automate internal processes.

Requirements

• Qualified CA with 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Marketplace startup experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to get hands dirty and set up functions from scratch.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
