The kind of person we are looking for to join our team

PEPERSALT is looking for a junior designer to join our graphic design team and work on a variety of design projects and initiatives.

The incumbent must be a well-rounded designer with the ability & desire to manage many types of graphic design requirements, some of which may include:

• Logo and brand identity development

• Retail Signage

• Corporate and Collateral Design

• Preparation of client presentations

• Web Designing

• Create Videos & edit

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

• Generate high-quality creative solutions that are in alignment with our client’s business strategy.
• Take a project from Strategic Design through to execution seamlessly.
• Support and build on ideas or suggestions from others.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, quality, and accuracy in your work.
• Be accountable and responsible for your work; see things through to completion.
• Manage time effectively while juggling multiple projects, working in the most efficient manner possible.
• Demonstrate the ability to brainstorm in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Design with a holistic solution in mind.
• Strong knowledge of current design trends.
• Be flexible to stretch beyond regular working hours and work on weekends when necessary to meet project deadlines or to accommodate client time zones.
• Be prepared and willing to travel for work-related purposes, whether for client meetings, on-site projects, or team off-sites, as necessary for the company or project needs.

Tools of the Trade and Key Competencies

Proficient in a broad range of software applications, including:

• Adobe Illustrator

• Photoshop

• InDesign

• XD

• After Effects / Premier Pro

• Wix & Wordpress 

Experience in the following is a plus:

• Packaging Design

• Marketing and communications design

• Illustration

• Environmental Graphics

• Digital design (UX, UI)

• Video & Editing

Education and/or Experience

• Formal education in Graphic Design, whether communications or packaging graphics,.
• 0–3 years related experience and training in an active design studio or agency environment.
• Candidates with a background in fine arts will have an added advantage, enhancing their ability to contribute creatively and bring a broader perspective to design challenges.

Compensation:

Rs. 1.8 L - 2.16L per annum

Timeline:

Initial 6-month period dedicated to performance evaluation and observation, with opportunities for advancement thereafter.

Work schedule:

6 days a week.
