Job Title Lead – Retail Marketing & Visual Merchandising

Function-Marketing

Sub Function -Retail Marketing & Visual Merchandising

Location- West & South

Job Summary

To conceptualise, design & oversee execution of all retail marketing activities which include both Store-led activations as well as Corporate level tie-ups on alliances & events, in line with the brand and so as to achieve marketing & sales objectives

To drive consumer engagements with meaningfully designed and conceptualised activations and events. Direct the efforts of the store teams and coordinate at both strategic and tactical levels with store-teams.

To drive visual merchandising design so as to ensure high-impact visual appeal for the brand across the various in-store touchpoints (eg menu boards, posters etc). Also responsible for execution of Visual Merchandising campaigns at Point Of Purchase across all stores

Financial Accountability (cost/revenue with exclusive authority)

Budget management, Demonstrating RoI from various retail marketing inputs

Organizational Relationship & Reporting Structure Reporting To Lead - Brand & Category

Job Responsibilities

Description of responsibility

Planning

  • Conceptualize and design store-led activation programs with tool-kits that enable easy execution
  • Plan corporate level alliances and collaborations to drive sales and various marketing objectives
  • Drive visual merchandising design across all key touch-points

Key functional responsibilities

  • Design & lead the execution of retail marketing strategy to drive sales & increase footfall across regions
  • Conceptualize programs for focus stores and execute the programs by empowering store managers through tool-kits
  • Execute the brand and consumer engagement programs; including in-store communication as per the marketing calendar
  • Deal with partners, activation agencies and production vendors to ensure timeliness, quality and at-right-cost
  • Allocate and track marketing budget spend across regions and initiatives
  • Leverage analytics to track marketing effectiveness & prove RoI of marketing initiatives
  • Maximize success of the plans by ensuring alignment, effective articulation and communication of marketing plans to internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Operations team for planning and overseeing execution of all the marketing related activities around new store launch as per the SOPs

People Management

  • Guide the retail marketing & visual merchandising teams to conceptualize and design the right inputs
  • Collaborate and work closely with Store operating teams to ensure execution as per plan

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification -MBA in Marketing

Total Experience 8 to 10 Years

Preferred Relevant Experience Experience in Retail Marketing for Apparel retail (preferred)/ QSR/ other Retail categories Ideal companies : Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle, Bata, Titan, Other QSR
