Job Description
You are accountable for ensuring the delivery of R2R SSC activities and will lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the service/optimize cost to increase value set out by the GPO (global process owner).
You will be reporting to the GPO of R2R and act as the key contact person for R2R SSC operations.
You lead the R2R department within SSC in the right direction set out by the GPO. You are responsible for both R2R SSC operations as well as responsibilities, including performance management and salary conversations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead R2R process within SSC, ensuring consistent implementation and monitoring of goals and performance.
- Drive KPIs aligned with SLAs to measure effectiveness, identify deviations, and resolve root causes.
- Report to GPO, set operational guidelines, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Manage collaboration with F&A process managers and stakeholders to ensure compliance.
- Maintain customer focus, liaising with stakeholders for continuous process improvement.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing internally and externally.
- Manage and structure continuous improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate and implement process improvement initiatives with stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and lead end-to-end process initiatives.
- Collaborate on central initiatives with GPO, Process Leads, and IT/Business Tech.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of the team.
- Evaluate and manage team performance, providing feedback and development plans.
- Support and train Team Leads for future managerial roles.
- Establish succession planning.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent, along with professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
- Comprehensive global accounting skills and relevant work experience in various financial processes.
- Extensive expertise in business management, strategy, and leadership, capable of independently running a department.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across borders.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to train colleagues and lead activities effectively.
- Excel proficiency in data analysis/reconciliations, including indexes, lookups, and pivot tables.
- Interest in process automation and experience in finance operations.
- Over 8 years of experience in finance roles within global, cross-functional, and multi-cultural environments.
- Experience in financial closing within a retail company and change management.
- Proficiency in automation tools and system interfaces, including SAP and Trintech Cadency.
- Experience in process design and enhancing process quality using best practices.
- Familiarity with project management and adaptability to changing environments while managing timelines effectively.
