Retail Training Manager

Position: Manager Training – Learning & Development

Experience: 5+ years as Retail Trainer

CTC: upto 10 LPA

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

We are looking for a Trainer professional to educate the multiple functional teams using various methods, like coaching, seminars, and interactive activities. Trainer responsibilities include functional skills that may be pertinent for a particular department and soft skills, leadership development, and similar programs. Ultimately, you will ensure our teams develop their skills and product knowledge, provide excellent customer service, and represent our brand in the best possible way.

Responsibilities: The initial focus will be on skill development for all Sales, Production & Logistics teams. This would include:

● Design and execute orientation programs for Sales, Production & Logistic teams

● Conduct onboarding training sessions for new hires

● Act as a consultant to new people for challenges they have on the job

● Observe how people interact with clients to identify areas of improvement

● Determine training needs both for individuals and teams

● Organize role-playing activities to simulate difficult client cases (e.g. how to overcome objections)

● Apply various sales training techniques (e.g. gamification, case studies, and group activities)

● Maintain updated records of training curriculum and material

Additional responsibilities would be:

● Inculcate a system to facilitate continuous learning for our teams

● Leverage available platforms to share content, evaluate personnel and provide ROI on training spend

● Develop/purchase content modules as required for functional areas other than front-end sales such as production, Logistic, marketing, technology, etc.

Requirements:

● 5+ years of Work experience as a Learning & Development Trainer or similar role

● Experience in the retail & Fashion industry

● Availability to travel and visit our retail stores & Factory, as needed

● Ability to manage the full training cycle, including conducting in-person activities and using e-learning platforms

● Excellent presentation skills

● Ability to motivate employees to achieve sales targets

● Degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field with 4 years of experience.

● Familiarity with Shopify and POS systems is a bonus.
