As a Service Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the retail experience, making it more engaging, efficient, and rewarding for our customers. You will use your design expertise to identify opportunities for improvement, conceptualize innovative service solutions, and lead the implementation of these designs across our physical and digital touchpoints. Key Responsibilities:
Lead service design projects from conception to implementation, ensuring they meet business goals and enhance customer satisfaction
Conduct comprehensive research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and experiences across all retail channels
Develop and iterate on service concepts using a variety of design and prototyping tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, marketers, product managers, and technologists, to integrate service design solutions into our retail operations
Utilize qualitative and quantitative research methods to validate concepts and measure the impact of service design initiatives
Present design concepts, prototypes, and strategies to stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and how it addresses user needs and business objectives
Stay abreast of the latest trends in service design, retail innovation, and customer experience strategies Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Service, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
A minimum of 1 year of experience in service design, UX design, or a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful service design projects
Strong portfolio showcasing service design work, including process and outcomes
Proficient in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision)
Excellent research and analytical skills, with experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
Knowledge of Python and SQL is a plus, enabling the candidate to leverage data analytics and database queries for deeper insights into customer behavior and service optimization
