Head of Retail Sales, South – Mutual Funds Location : Bangalore Position Grade : Vice President/ Sr Vice President Function : Mutual Fund Reports to : Chief Business Officer Reportees : 7-8 Very Important Skills: Mutual Funds, Retail Sales, Client Profile: Client is an institutionalized multi-line and multi-asset financial services platform and the market leader in the Debt Capital Markets space providing Investment Banking Solutions and Capital Market Services. They are a differentiated player in the Advisory, Wealth and Asset Management space with offerings across Mutual Fund, Equity & Debt PMS, Wealth Management and Alternative Asset Management, managing and advising total assets of over INR 18,500 crores. Qualifications: MBA from reputed B-school with a Finance & /or marketing specialization Role highlight : Senior professional within the AMC industry with at least 15 years of experience in Mutual Funds sales. Retail sales experience is necessary. Key Responsibilities : Managing South zone's distribution network, which consists of all registered IFAs, banks, national distributors, and the private wealth setup In charge of distributing mutual funds through various channels The purpose of the role is to increase market share by establishing and carrying out organizational strategies and activities to meet the set objectives through the group of designated distributors In charge of managing groups of clients for the growth of distribution networks ensuring that distributors receive regular training on all products and operational practices Determining the team member's competencies and guiding them toward the targets Determine potential tie-ups with current distributors, provide the channel team with leads, and organize a drive for the South of India Talent Attribute : Strong leadership skills Excellent sales & analytical ability Comprehensive understanding of the AMC markets and products Strong relationship management Excellent written, communication and presentation skills Competency: Team Work & Team Leadership Drive for Result Conceptual or Analytical Thinking Client Centricity Planning & Organizing
