Job Description:
Conference & Sponsorship Sales
Challenging and fun, this position is suited to a career orientated, financially driven and ambitious sales person who wants to join a world No. 1 company in its segment, that prides itself on training and developing professional sales people.
-To be organised and self-disciplined, to meet or exceed personal targets and meet or exceed the call time rate
-Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools in order to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each conference
-Identify, Research, develop and prospect a list of potential sponsors/ exhibitors for each conference;
-Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential delegates, sponsorship clients and exhibitors
-Ability to negotiate sales contract and close deals
-Arrange on agreements, MOUs with the converted sponsors / exhibitors
-Coordinate various services for clients including – pre-event and post event
-Assist in preparing promotional material to advertise sales opportunities;
-Maintain knowledge of conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines;
-Having track record of sales success and knowledge of sponsorship trends
-Key part of the national events team that will conceptualize and deliver all of Franchise India events
-Assist the events team in researching and generating new business leads and also acquiring managing the same
-Initiate communication with decision makers (delegates, exhibitors or partners) as need be.
-Take ownership of delegate acquisition/ sales for various events through outbound calls, relevant communication and outreach programs
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
complete record of calls and sales made for each client or prospect by the team; order forms.
A completed accurately and legibly plan the working day and activity planner in order to achieve the department's objectives, having due regard to priorities sell on whichever event as necessity demands as directed by your line manager
may when required be expected to present at certain events and meet clients directly
