<p>Our growth plans:<br/><br/>- We process close to 4% of the country's freight on our software platform.<br/><br/>- Our goal is to get to 20% of the country's freight by 2028.<br/><br/>- This gives us a bird's eye view of the market.<br/><br/>- We're already the largest road freight technology platform in the country and we plan to build on this base to drive growth in software, freight marketplace and supply chain financing to get to a 100M USD revenue by 2028.<br/><br/>About the Role:<br/><br/>- As a Sales Manager, you will play a strategic role in building sales strategies to attain the overall business goals and strive to meet and exceed them.<br/><br/>- You will also be responsible for performance analysis developing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry and creating comprehensive and compelling strategic proposals to convince the senior management to implement strategic decisions.<br/><br/>Key responsibilities:<br/><br/>1) Achieve Revenue and Market Share Targets:<br/><br/>- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.<br/><br/>- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market share.<br/><br/>2) Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:<br/><br/>- Identify and develop relationships with key accounts and potential customers.<br/><br/>- Set up product demonstrations, discuss technical solutions, and manage complex negotiations to secure contracts.<br/><br/>3) Market Analysis and Strategic Planning:<br/><br/>- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.<br/><br/>- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Director of Sales, highlighting performance and strategic insights.<br/><br/>4) Cross-functional Collaboration and Seamless Execution:<br/><br/>- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, customer service) to ensure seamless execution of sales plans.<br/><br/>- Partner with customers during the initial days of product usage to ensure faster adoption and a smooth handover to account managers, ensuring a seamless customer experience.<br/><br/>Preferred qualifications:<br/><br/>- Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.<br/><br/>- An MBA from a reputable B-School is highly desirable.<br/><br/>- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales within the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry.<br/><br/>- At least 4-6 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in a B2B setting.<br/><br/>- Experience in SaaS or Logistics SaaS companies/start-ups is a plus.<br/><br/>- Excellent ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts<br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
