Overview :
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Travel Agent / Channel Partner Sales professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with travel agents, channel partners, and other distribution partners to drive sales and revenue growth in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth through travel agents, channel partners, and other distribution channels.
- Identify and establish relationships with new travel agents and channel partners, negotiating agreements and contracts as needed.
- Provide training, support, and ongoing communication to travel agents and channel partners to ensure product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to develop sales collateral, promotions, and incentives for travel agents and channel partners.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with travel agents and channel partners and promote our products and services.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and key initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, market dynamics, and emerging trends in the travel industry.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the travel industry, with at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to establish and maintain partnerships with travel agents and channel partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and pitch products and services to external partners.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
