Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy and Planning - Develop and implement sales strategy for West Bengal, aligning with company objectives. - Set and achieve regional sales targets. - Conduct market research to identify opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends. - Collaborate with marketing for effective sales campaigns. Team Management and Development - Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team in West Bengal. - Provide coaching to enhance team skills and product knowledge. - Set performance targets, conduct evaluations, and implement corrective actions. - Promote teamwork and a customer-centric approach. Sales Operations - Appointing & Maintain strong relationships with key distributors and retailers. - Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends. - Ensure effective product distribution, working with Depot and Logistics teams. - Manage sales budgets and resource allocation to optimize productivity and profitability. Customer Relationship Management - Build strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs and concerns. - Conduct market visits, customer meetings, and sales presentations. - Resolve escalated customer issues promptly. Reporting and Analysis - Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management. - Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, recommending actions. Qualifications and Requirements 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field; master's degree is a plus. 2. Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar role in Food / FMCG. 3. 18+ years of relevant experience. 4. In-depth knowledge of FMCG market dynamics and sales strategies in West Bengal. 5. Strong leadership skills to inspire and develop a sales team. 6. Analytical mindset for interpreting sales data and market research. 7. Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. 8. Proficient in Bizom Software, MS Office Suite, and sales analysis tools. 9. Willingness to travel within West Bengal.
