Job Description - Sales Lead

Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition:
  • Identify and target potential clients for the marketing agency through market research and segmentation.
  • Develop and implement innovative and effective strategies to acquire new clients.
  • Utilize various channels, including digital outreach, networking events, and industry partnerships, to expand the agency's client base.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their business goals and marketing needs.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing solutions, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy and Positioning:
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director and marketing team to to develop compelling sales strategies and positioning that highlight the agency's unique value proposition.
  • Present the agency's services in a way that demonstrates a deep understanding of clients' industries and challenges.
  • Market Trends and Industry Insights:
  • Stay abreast of marketing industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Sales Director and marketing team to refine service offerings and stay competitive.
  • Lead Generation:
  • Generate leads through proactive outreach, networking, and leveraging industry events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation efforts and implement lead nurturing strategies.
  • Sales Performance:
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.
  • Regularly analyze sales data and trends to optimize performance.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to the Sales Director.

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales within the marketing industry, with a track record of successful client acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing trends, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
