Job Description:Fairfest Media Limited, the organizer of OTM, TTF, Municipalika and BLTM is an established leader in trade shows in India, with clients from over 80 countries.We are seeking dynamic and result-oriented individuals to join our team as Sales Managers for selling to:a) Central/State Government/PSUs/Smart Citiesb) Private sector technology/solutions providers for smart cities, urban and housing sectorTo bring them onboard to participate in our industry-leading trade show and conferenceThe primary responsibility of this role is to engage with potential clients including central govt ministries, state governments, smart cities, private sector etc to secure participation in Municipalika and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and communication skills, along with understanding of B2B Events : Trade Fairs and Conferences. Experience of media sales in urban sector verticals like water, solid waste, sanitation, environment, renewable energy, mobility, housing, urban infrastructure, digital cities, building materials and technologies, etc would be a plus point.Roles & responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Municipalika, targeting government and smart city officials, and the private sector.Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the Government/Smart Cities sectors.Experience of media sales in urban sector verticals like water, solid waste, sanitation, environment, renewable energy, transport and mobility, housing, urban infrastructure, digital cities, building materials and technologies, etc would be a plus point.Coordinate with the design and content teams to create compelling promotional materials and advertisements.Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.Analyze marketing data and feedback to refine strategies and enhance overall promotional effectiveness.Act as the main point of contact for government clients participating in Municipalika, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the event cycle.Work closely with clients to understand their objectives and tailor services to meet their specific needs.Provide guidance on maximizing the value of participation and address any concerns or challenges.Gather feedback from clients post-event and collaborate with internal teams to implement improvements.Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services or future event participation.Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.Qualification:Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.Proven experience of at least 2 years in sales or business development, preferably in the Government/Smart Cities sectors.Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully closing deals.Understanding of government/public sector ecosystemExceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with government clients.Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other team members.
