We achieve this by selling affordable, high-quality family planning and safe abortion product through over 100,000 pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, and markets across the country. Janani was established in 1995 and is an affiliate of DKT International, the largest provider of family planning in the world.
Janani’s (Sales officers)-Product Detailers are responsible for managing our relationship with our customers. Product Detailers promote our products, provide on-the-job training to customers, gather market intelligence from customers, and manage the relationship between our customers and our stockists.
A successful Product Detailer excels at building a strong base of loyal customers through a passion for understanding customers’ needs, a thorough knowledge of our products, and strong planning and execution skills. He/she is an excellent communicator, is persuasive, and is driven by success and growth.
Job Title: Product Detailer
Positions: In state of Uttar Pradesh for Meerut
Reporting to: Area / Regional Business Manager
Responsibilities
§ Effectively and efficiently manage customers in your assigned territory, building strong, mutually beneficial relationships and constantly seeking out new customers
§ Maintain an excellent understanding of Janani’s products, their unique selling points, and how they should be used, and pass on that knowledge to customers
§ Ensure products and promotional materials are strategically positioned in shop fronts to catch consumer’s attention and encourage purchase
§ Plan customer visits and call frequency strategically to maximise coverage, prioritise high-potential customers and achieve or exceed monthly targets set by your manager
§ Resolve customer complaints, and report customer feedback to your manager
§ Report to your manager on competitor pricing, promotion, new product launches
§ Accurately report your daily activity through Janani’s CRM application and produce other reports as required by your manager
§ Maintain a good relationship with stockists and ensure stockists maintain adequate stock and prioritise Janani product sales
§ Work with your manager to explore solutions to barriers, and improve planning and customer relationships with a view to maximising sales
Qualifications
The successful candidate must:
§ Be marketing orientated, have a passion for customer service, and be prepared to spend his/her working day visiting customers
§ Have excellent communication, presentation, analytical skills (oral and written)
§ Computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
§ Have a high level of integrity and responsibility
§ Have his/her own two-wheeler and valid driving license
§ From time to time be prepared to transfer to new territories
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
§ A basic diploma or degree in business or bio-sciences such as pharmacy
§ At least 3 years experience in working with FMCG, pharmaceutical and OTC products
§ An ability to communicate in English along with a local language
