AWS/Python Developer

The Opportunity :We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled AWS Python Developer to join our growing team! You will play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure backend services using AWS and Python. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate developer to contribute to our cloud-based applications and leverage your expertise in microservices architecture.Responsibilities :Backend Development :- Develop and implement robust Python APIs using the FASTAPI framework for efficient and performant services.- Design and implement microservices architecture principles to achieve high availability, scalability, and maintainability.- Integrate with various AWS services (e. g. , S3, RDS) to build comprehensive backend functionalities.AWS Expertise : - Utilize AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudFormation to design and deploy cloud infrastructure.- Implement secure and reliable data transfer between AWS accounts for enhanced data management.- Optimize cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation for efficient resource provisioning and configuration management.Database Management :- Possess strong SQL knowledge and write efficient queries for data retrieval and manipulation.- Develop stored procedures and functions in PostgreSQL to enhance database performance and code reusability.Collaboration and DevOps :- Work effectively with fellow developers, data analysts, and architects to deliver high-quality project outcomes.- Utilize GitLab for version control and maintain a clean and collaborative development environment.- Possess a good understanding of DevOps practices and principles for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).Technical Skills :- 3 - 5 years of experience working as a Python developer.- Proficiency in Python programming and the FASTAPI framework.- Solid understanding of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, CloudFormation).- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL stored procedures and functions.- Familiarity with GitLab version control system.- Basic understanding of DevOps principles (a plus).Bonus Skills :- AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification (a plus).- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker (a plus).Qualities :- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and prioritize deadlines.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
