Database Developer

About the Role :- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Database Developer to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing our SQL Server databases. - You will be responsible for the entire database lifecycle, ensuring the integrity, performance, and security of our critical data.Responsibilities :- Design and develop high-performance and scalable database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.- Write efficient and maintainable T-SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data.- Implement stored procedures, functions, and triggers to automate complex database operations.- Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans and implementing indexing strategies.- Configure user permissions and access controls to ensure data security.- Perform backups, disaster recovery planning, and data restoration procedures.- Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving database design and development practices.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in SQL Server and database management systems (DBMS).Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).- 3+ years of experience in database development with a strong focus on Microsoft SQL Server.- Proficiency in T-SQL and a solid understanding of relational database concepts (normalization, data types, constraints, etc.)- Experience with database design methodologies (ER modeling).- Experience with database performance tuning techniques.- Familiarity with database administration tasks (backup/restore, user management, security).- Understanding of database version control systems (e.g., Git for SQL Server) is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
