iOS Developer

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for an iOS developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

Role & responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Designing and building mobile applications for Apples iOS platform.
• Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
• Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
• Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
• Publishing application on App Store.
• Maintaining the code and atomization of the application.
• Designing and implementing application updates.

Technical Skills

• Must have worked on AWS platforms.
• Working experience in iOS development & have published one or more iOS apps in the app store.
• A deep familiarity with Objective-C and Cocoa Touch along experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services & knowledge of Apples design principles and application interface guidelines.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN & C-based libraries.
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.
• Experience with continuous integration along experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of different versions of IOS, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect IOS applications to back-end services.
• Strong knowledge of IOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch.
• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers.
• Knowledge of the open-source IOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
