JD Edwards Developer

Summary:

The JDEdwards Development Resource plays a critical role in the successful implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of JD Edwards (JDE) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding business requirements, and configuring JDE modules to optimize business processes.

Responsibilities:

  Solution Design and Development:

Design effective, scalable, and maintainable solutions that align with business requirements.

Collaborate with consultants, implementation managers, and client IT resources to develop, test, and implement JDE products and issue resolutions.

  Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide implementation team troubleshooting assistance.

Monitor and maintain scheduled jobs within the JDE ERP system.

Ensure day-to-day technical production support for assigned JDE modules.

Remain informed about JDE Systems Administration and E1 Code best practices.

Integration and Coordination:

Participate in project and internal status meetings.

Collaborate on project planning, design, development, and deployment.

Collaborate with the Functional Business Analysts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong technical skills in JDE configuration and customization.
• Familiarity with JDE modules related to Finance, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, and Costing.
• General business systems experience.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and their integration into JDE systems.
