The Shopify Developer (Headless Architecture Specialist) will play a key role in building and optimizing high-performance e-commerce websites using Shopify's headless architecture. This role requires a deep understanding of web development principles, front-end and back-end technologies, as well as proficiency in Shopify's platform and ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for optimizing website speed, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Headless Architecture Development:  
• Architect and develop headless e-commerce solutions using Shopify's headless architecture. 
• Implement the Hydrogen frontend framework to build lightning-fast, scalable web applications. 
• Optimize website speed and performance through efficient coding practices and server-side rendering (SSR) techniques. 
• Website Development:  
• Build Shopify websites from scratch using headless architecture, ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility. 
• Develop custom themes and templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid programming language. 
• Collaborate with designers and UX/UI specialists to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. 
• Frontend/Backend Rebuilding:  
• Rebuild and refactor existing frontend and backend code to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance. 
• Implement best practices for code organization, version control, and documentation. 
• Ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components to optimize website functionality. 
• App Integration and Configuration:  
• Set up and configure Shopify apps to extend website functionality and enhance the user experience. 
• Evaluate third-party apps and integrations to meet business requirements and technical specifications. 
• Customize app settings, workflows, and functionalities as needed to align with project goals. 
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting:  
• Provide technical support to internal teams and clients regarding website functionality, performance, and troubleshooting. 
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to website speed, performance optimization, and app integrations. 
• Stay updated on Shopify platform updates, API changes, and industry best practices to ensure smooth operation of websites. 
• Project Management:  
• Manage multiple Shopify website projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. 
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and project managers, to ensure alignment and collaboration. 
• Proactively identify potential roadblocks or challenges and implement solutions to keep projects on track. 

Qualifications:  

• 4+ years of relevant experience. 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 
• years of experience in web development, with a focus on Shopify development and headless architecture. 
• Proficiency in Shopify Liquid programming language, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies. 
• Experience implementing headless e-commerce solutions and optimizing website speed and performance. 
• Strong understanding of frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js) and their integration with Shopify. 
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) techniques and performance optimization strategies. 
• Experience with Shopify app development, integration, and configuration. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
• Shopify Developer certification and/or relevant certifications are a plus.
