Business Intelligence Engineer

Job Description :Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions on AWS, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting dashboards.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand BI requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Assisting in develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into AWS services such as S3, Redshift, or RDS.Design and implement scalable data models optimized for reporting and analytics needs.Create and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data manipulation, transformation, and aggregation.Build and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using BI tools such as AWS QuickSight and Microsoft PowerBI.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all BI solutions.Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decision-making.Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members on BI best practices and AWS technologies.Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BI technologies and tools.Skills :Proven experience (3+ years) as a BI Engineer, with a focus on AWS cloud technologies, and experience and knowledge on Microsoft PowerBI technology is a plus.Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, Amazon Kinesis, AWS Glue, etc is a plusStrong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data governance principles.Familiarity with programming/scripting languages like Python, SQL, and experience with data manipulation and transformation.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement creative solutions for complex data challenges.Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.Experience in working with Agile methodologies and version control systems.Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Education and Certification :Bachelors or associate degree in IT disciplineCertification in AWS Certified: Solution Architect Associate or AWS Certified: Data Engineer is added advantage.
