As we continue to expand our data capabilities, we are seeking a talented Data Architect to play a pivotal role within the Power Grid Automation Enterprise Software Energy Portfolio Management group designing and implementing robust data solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Energy Sector Champion - Promote data strategies advancing the evolution and modernization of the Energy Sector.

• Data Strategy and Planning - Develop and implement the overall data strategy aligned with business goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and define the data architecture.

• Data Modeling - Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Ensure data models are following data architecture principles and standards.

• Database Management - Oversee database management systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Evaluate and recommend database technologies to meet evolving needs.

• Data Governance and Quality - Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards. Implement data quality measures and processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Data Integration - Design and implement data integration solutions for seamless data flow across systems. Collaborate with development teams to ensure effective data integration practices.

• Security and Privacy - Develop and implement data security and privacy measures. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards.

• Emerging Technologies - Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in data architecture. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data capabilities.

• Collaboration and Communication - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and developers. Clearly communicate data architecture concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Candidate with 11-15 years of experience.

• Relevant certifications in data architecture or related areas are a plus.

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or a similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.

• Knowledge and experience data science is a plus

• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and security principles.

• Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).

• Proficiency and strong understanding of Change Data Capture systems, Data Integration techniques, performance, and maintenance of large-scale Time-Series Data.

• Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Apache Spark).

• Ability to work with legacy applications and guide teams to modernize while maintaining backward compatibility.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
