Data Warehouse Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Warehouse Architect to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will play a key role in building and maintaining our data warehouse infrastructure, with a specific focus on integrating data from Workday. You will leverage your expertise in data warehousing, ETL development, and Workday technologies to design, develop, and deploy robust data pipelines that support our data analytics needs.The Ideal Candidate :- Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Architect or related role with a strong understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.- In-depth experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or SSIS for developing data pipelines for both Azure and on-premises SQL Server environments.- Solid experience with XSLT development for data transformation tasks.- Extensive experience with Workday Studio for authoring reports and outbound integrations.- Strong understanding of data mapping techniques and the ability to translate data between disparate systems (Working experience with business partners on data mapping is a plus).- Familiarity with data vault or data mart modeling concepts is desirable.- Commitment to coding data pipelines according to established standards and best practices.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Ability to mentor and guide other team members on Workday technologies and data integration practices.- Demonstrated ability to successfully complete training on HIPAA and PII compliance regulations.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines using Azure Data Factory or SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from Workday into our data warehouse.- Develop and maintain Workday reports and outbound integrations using Workday Studio and XSLT.- Collaborate with business partners to understand data requirements and map data between Workday and our data warehouse.- Ensure data pipelines are maintainable, scalable, and adhere to established coding standards.- Participate in data model design discussions, potentially including data vault or data mart considerations.- Document data pipelines and processes for future reference.- Mentor and guide other team members on Workday technologies and data integration best practices.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data warehousing, Workday technologies, and data security regulations.
