Lead Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer with a passion for the healthcare industry to join our growing team!In this pivotal role, you will play a key role in building and maintaining our data lake infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in data pipelines, cloud technologies, and healthcare data to design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable data solutions.The Ideal Candidate :- Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on data migration and data warehousing.- Proven experience in the healthcare industry with a deep understanding of healthcare data regulations and compliance requirements.- Expertise in data lake technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).- Strong proficiency in Apache Kafka to design and build real-time, reliable data processing pipelines.- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow (bonus points for experience with Github Actions or GitLab CI/CD).- Solid understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (familiarity with Snowpipe is a plus).- In-depth knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.- Experience with data quality tools and techniques to ensure data integrity and consistency.- Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI (optional).- Strong understanding of complex relational database design principles and best practices.- Experience with APIs and microservices to facilitate data connectivity and integration across various applications.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (data analysts, software engineers, stakeholders).- Proactive and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and a passion for innovation.- Ability to independently manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot data pipeline issues.What We Offer :- The opportunity to work on a challenging and impactful project at the forefront of healthcare data engineering.- A collaborative and supportive work environment where continuous learning is encouraged.- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Opportunity to make a real difference in improving healthcare outcomes through data-driven insights.
