Job Description - Manager - Data Management Tools Engineer

What role will you play?

We are currently seeking for an experienced Mid-Level Engineer with a focus on Power BI, Alteryx and Dataiku to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for the design, development and automation, support and troubleshooting of our Power BI, Alteryx and Dataiku systems. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, develop technical solutions, and support business processes.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the systems to support business requirements with a strong focus on processes automation.
  • Consistently deliver work tasks based on prior commitments and task definition to fulfil the specification of work.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical support for Power BI, Alteryx and Dataiku, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Ability to drive technical solutions and work closely with product managers and delivery managers to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Proactivity and good time management.
  • Drive good practice ensuring quality of code, tests & adequate and clear documentation.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of the supported systems by conducting tests.
  • Assist in the training of users on the supported systems.

What you offer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Power BI and Alteryx, focusing on infrastructure. Experience working with Dataiku is a bonus.
  • Strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the following technologies: PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, AWS and MS Azure.
  • Experience with working on wider set of tools especially in the Data Analytics/Big data landscape.
  • Experience working with Atlassian toolset (e.g., Jira and Confluence)
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and business intelligence systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
