Senior Data Architect

About the Role :We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Data Architect to join our growing data team. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of our enterprise data architecture. You will play a critical role in defining and implementing strategies to ensure our data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and meets the evolving needs of the business.Responsibilities :- Lead the development and implementation of the enterprise data architecture, including data governance, data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes, and data pipelines.- Partner with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Design and implement a robust data governance framework to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.- Develop and maintain data models that optimize data storage, retrieval, and analysis.- Select and implement appropriate data warehousing and data lake technologies.- Design and implement data pipelines to efficiently extract, transform, and load data across various sources.- Integrate data architecture with business intelligence (BI) and analytics tools.- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data management and big data.- Mentor and guide junior data architects and data engineers.- Manage data architecture projects effectively, ensuring timely completion within budget.Qualifications :- 15+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data management.- Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex data architectures.- In-depth knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.- Expertise in data modeling methodologies (e.g., Kimball, Inmon).- Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, Hadoop, Spark).- Proficiency in data integration tools and ETL/ELT processes.- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.- Strong understanding of SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python).- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
