Teradata Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ Years of Proven experience as a Teradata Specialist or similar role, with a deep understanding of Teradata architecture, utilities, and tools.
• Strong SQL programming skills and proficiency in Teradata SQL, including complex query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with Teradata utilities such as BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and techniques, including dimensional modeling and normalization.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies, including star schemas, snowflake schemas, and data mart design.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Certifications such as Teradata Certified Professional (TCP) or Teradata Certified Administrator (TCA) are a plus.
