Job Title: Private Credit Financing – CA Industrial Trainee – Academic Internship Program 2024
Short Job Description: The role involves monitoring the credit risk of the underlying middle-market collateral and monitoring portfolios on a quarterly basis.
Job Summary
As an intern in the team, you will
Work closely with Global Portfolio Financing teams to analyze middle market credit collateral.
Perform credit analysis of portfolio loan investments and identify business risks.
Develop mark recommendations for new loans into the JPM portfolio by analyzing the underlying business, the structure of the credit, the spread of the loan and all other relevant information
Monitor the entire loan book every quarter
Identify and analyze impact of macro-events on the underlying collateral pool.
Job Responsibilities
Analyze credit risk for underlying middle-market borrowers
Ask relevant questions to ascertain the value of collateral
Compile data in the standard template and upload to the internal repository
Communicate findings and recommendations to the team and senior management
Investigate impact of macro-trends on specific sectors/ industry sub-groups
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Excellent Academic record
Currently Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting or related field
Excel, Word and MS Office skills
Knowledge of financial statements and financial ratios
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Works well in a team dynamic with a collaborative approach and personal efficiency
Excellent communication skills
Pursuing a qualification degree with expected completion date in 2025/2026
Available for Chartered Accountant Industrial Training for 12 to 18 months .
Expected to sit for Chartered Accountant Final Exams in November 2025 / May 2026.
0-1 years of experience in a credit role preferred (Credit Risk, Credit Portfolio Management)
Experience in Banking/ Capital Markets/ Investment Management is preferred but not required
Keen interest in credit risk and financial markets
