2026 Summer AI/ML Under Graduate Intern

Principal Responsibilities:

AI/ML Graduate Intern – 3 to 6 Months Training Program

This 3 to 6-month internship/training opportunity within the AI/ML function of MKS Instruments provides a structured, hands-on experience to early-career professionals. The program is designed to give interns exposure to real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, including Natural Language Processing (NLP), while fostering personal and professional development.

Required Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), or a related field
• Completed certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Demonstrated experience through projects in AI/ML and NLP, including model building, fine-tuning, or deployment
• Proficiency in Python, and familiarity with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and NLP tools like spaCy or Hugging Face Transformers

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Perform tasks requiring sitting, standing, or typing for prolonged periods
• Regular use of hands for typing, programming, and documentation
• Must be able to clearly communicate complex technical information
• Ability to observe data and screen-based details closely
• Operates in a professional office or remote environment
• Constant use of computer and productivity tools
• Noise level in the work environment is typically average
