JOB DESCRIPTION

As a 3D Unreal Artist Intern at Xogar Games, you will closely work with our art and design team to create high-quality 3D assets for our current and upcoming game projects. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the gaming industry while honing their skills in modeling, sculpting, texturing, and working with Unreal Engine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D models of characters, environments, and objects based on design briefs and concepts.


• Apply textures to 3D models using software such as Substance Painter or equivalent to ensure a high level of detail and realism.


• Work with tools like Zbrush to sculpt high-resolution assets for character development and environmental details.


• Import and integrate assets into Unreal Engine, ensuring they are optimized for performance while maintaining visual quality.


• Work closely with animators, game designers, and the art team to meet project goals and deadlines.


• Participate in team reviews and incorporate feedback from senior artists to refine and improve your work.


• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new tools to enhance your skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of creating game-ready models using software like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.


• Proficiency in texturing techniques using tools such as Substance Painter, Photoshop, or equivalent.


• Experience with Zbrush is a must to create detailed and high-resolution models.


• Basic understanding of importing and optimizing assets within Unreal Engine, including knowledge of shaders and lighting.


• Keen eye for detail, color, and composition, with a passion for creating visually appealing 3D content.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to take direction and constructive feedback.

Eligibility Criteria:

•        Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.

•        Passionate about 3D modelling and creating game ready assets.

•        Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
